Visit Scotland with a qualified tour guide. There is so much to see and do in Scotland that this website would need to be thousands of pages long to do it justice!
My name is Bryan Hogg and I am a guide based in Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland.
I am a member of the Scottish Tourist Guides Association and hold their coveted Blue Badge
I have been traveling around Scotland for nearly 40 years and am now in the fortunate position to be able do it for a living! My interests are wide and varied.
The vibrant and modern cities are diverse and have history on every street corner.
Edinburgh has a huge variety of things to see and do. The classic walk down the Royal Mile from the castle to the Palace of Holyrood House is a "must do."
The mountains, lochs and glens are famous worldwide and for people who enjoy outdoor activities the only thing restricting what you do is your imagination.
If you are a history enthusiast, there have been people in this part of the world of at least 7500 years. They have left Standing stones, brochs, castles, great houses and much more.
The west coast islands are unique and "island hopping" on the network of ferries is becoming more and more popular.
The North west of Scotland is often referred to as Europe's last great wilderness. The scenery is fantastic and, with luck you can see some amazing wildlife on the mainland, islands or at sea. Whales, dolphins, otters. eagles, red deer to name a few and for bird watchers the list goes on and on.
So, whatever your interests Scotland can fit the bill.
